Swallowing a bit

The only thing to do to really see this swallow was to climb up on the bench.  Swallow didn't mind. It was a "see me?' session.  You see me. I see you.  Enchanting.
I have no idea what this racket was all about, perhaps getting acquainted.

The next day

Home alone, dove on wall. This baby will leave hodge-podge nest soon.
Backyard Buddha mom still sitting on her bigger baby.
Ah, good clue.  Baby robin somewhere nearby.
I only found one fledgling. No sign of fledgling #2.
Well, look who appeared from the underworld.
Big surprise, I mean little surprise, a female common yellow-throat.

Garden catch-up

Lamp fixture
 dove.  Big baby under mama.

Backyard Mama is looking like a buddha. Big baby under her too.

Mama takes a break. The red mark on side of beak guides baby where to jab for food.
Home alone
The other backyard baby, new robin fledgling. Sitter.
Here comes lunch.
Sitter moves into grass.

Baby just kept sitting. Parent couldn't coax baby to fly.
