Termites

In the bushes, one female black-throated-blue warbler,  better than nothing

Better yet, the male black-throated-blue. Singing.

And best yet, TERMITES.  Lots of bugs, not as many birds, alas.
Catbird knows a good thing when it arrives in the neighborhood.
The termites were going airborne and heading west, so other birds were snagging them in the air or on the lower path.  Downy was finding lunch in the tree, the Hole tree.
and the black crowned night heron had bigger "fish to fry".
