| There were more termites yesterday than birds,or birders for that matter. Swirling termites hatching everywhere. Bugs = bug-eaters. The beautiful common yellow throat male singing happily in between gorging. |

| The hermit and veery were at my feet because so were the bugs. |

| Fascinating to watch. Papa Cardinal arrived with a mouth full of food obviously for the family. The entire load got placed on the sidewalk and Papa sorted out the food, removed twigs. I focused on the food and tried to see what was happening. After the food was picked clean it got delivered to the family. I've never seen this behavior before. |
