Nestlings, continued

The kids can pick a little. A sure sign that they'll leave the nest very soon.
They still demand room service.
This happened very fast. Baby presented rear end to nest opening and delivered the fecal sac. I had never before seen a sparrow do this. I wasn't quick enough with camera. At next food delivery Mama removed fecal sac. I'd never before seen this housekeeping by a sparrow, robins always, but sparrow, a first.
The very obvious flying lesson. No food delivery. Watch me, kids. This is what you're supposed to do next.
Back to food picking and calling for food.
