The 13th, afternoon

Dove baby has come down to the ground. There are stone blocks which every dove I've watched eventually come and perch on.
Walking around in the wood chips. It's almost feeding time.
Here comes the parent.
Chow time. The baby really "jumps the parent's bones". Nothing gentle about this  session.
After less than a minute unruffled parent is ready to depart.
Baby walked around and then rested.  I know this baby is now ready to expand its horizons.
Above in the berry tree the robins and starlings are dining on remaining berries. Pretty soon the berries will also be gone.
