Morning surprise

Getting downstairs and seeing what the doves are up to is always fun. At first I could not find them, not in usual tree. Maybe they had flown the area? It is that time.   I walked around slowly and found them, BACK IN THE NEST. And as I gasped in surprise the parent flew in for a feeding. Nest =  food?

After feeding one stayed in nest, only space for one. The other stayed on branch above nest.

A different young dove at my feet looking for seeds. I don't know which nest this kid came from.
