The grosbeaks

Where there's jewelweed there will be hummers and with luck the rose  breasted grosbeaks will also show up to munch on the seeds usually down below the blossoms. This time I met two munch-in-your- face grosbeaks. They're about 8" long and plump. The mature birds get the red breasts. These are young grosbeaks. And hungry.
