Rain needed

The bark is fine. Creeper finding grub easily.

But many of the lawns are parched. I don't know how the worms can exist in the seemingly dry soil.

I think this bit was worm jerky.

Found worm.... it had been lying on surface.

No worms even in mud puddle.

Contented song sparrow.
