Early morning

First bird, our blue jay sipping rain water from a puddle on top of the garbage bags. Gardnered rakes up mowed grass and bags it.

The female black throated blue warbler seems comfortable in short grass and up the sunflower stalks.

                                                          Sapsucker watching everything

                                              All the sparrows are "gumming" sunflower seeds.
