| Parent flew to ground under nest, because he dropped the fecal sac, - splat,.. very distressing to a neat robin, because it's a clue to other birds that there's a nest hidden above. Robins keep a clean nest and surroundings. |

It's too hot to stand and wait all day, but I suspect this family will fledge shortly. They're ready.
