Came along the path across from the shed in the Rambles and spotted this bird. Low down. My brain said,
"great crested flycatcher", but I'd never seen one low down. Time to be puzzled. What is this low down bird.... slight olive tinge on back, long tail, slight "crest", about 9", russet tail, but not high up. Only one thing to do.. take lots of pictures and check bird book later on. |

| No question, a low down immature great crested flycatcher. And along with that surprise, the flowering cacti at the north west corner of Bow Bridge. New York City cactus. Amazing. |
