Pier 13

13th street and the Hudson River, one ratty pier, north side clear view, south side fenced off with sun hitting metal fence, so naturally the barn swallows were landing on the south side. Getting pictures was like shooting through a keyhole. Frustrating!  Swallow nests under pier.  I could hear the babies' voices.  No way to see under the pier. Still, it was a nice hour, well worth the subway ride.  Pinhole portraiture.
Couldn't get this is focus,  swallow chase and capture of something, possibly a butterfly?
