More kids

Heard the singing first. Finches in the middle garden for a change. There's one tree that they seem to like.

Judging by this delivery there must be more than one baby.

This is another smart nest, up away from human interference and well protected from above. It's darker in that space than the pictures show.  Lots of bird activity in this area. Parents chase away any intruding robins, spitfire attacks.  Across the path baby starlings are screaming to be fed.  It's a real symphony of sound.  Surprisingly few sparrows. They've probably marked off other turf.
