Later that afternoon

Three hours later. Alpha baby still in bushes demanding food.
Two other babies still in nest. It's comfortable now. More spacious.
There's also a sparrow fledgling doing the feed-me routine.
And there's this pretty pigeon hanging around. Abnormally docile and trusting.
Oh, the reason. It only has one foot. Genetic? An accident? No way to tell. It may spend its life in our garden.
Meanwhile, back to alpha baby...
I could just hug this kid, but that's a no-no. Instead we chat.
Yelling for food wil continue. More tomorrow.
