At the cotoneaster

Oriole heaven.  They love this plant. It's later this year, later by a week, but better late than never.
High above the bush there's a deteriorating nest, robin?, blown out previous oriole nest? I couldn't tell. Shadow light.  The female oriole examined the nest from all angles, then took strands obviously for her new nest.
The female black-throated blue warbler likes this plant too.
This was the first time I've really been able to see the female's beautiful colors.
I know, I know, brat bird, but this was right at my feet and even bratty the starling is pretty.  Obviously this one has nestlings.
