Back to beautiful

All was quiet when suddenly there were lots of littles flitting about. The redstart and male black-throated blue warblers were too fast to get any pictures. They were moving in very dense leaves. Lots of bugs. The sweet magnolia warbler, however, paused just long enough for a photo op.

At the Oven, watching for hummers when the female common yellow throat flew in for bugs.

Finally, a female redstart photo op.

And what would a day be without a hummer. Very territorial. Every time a second hummer flew into this space it got spitfire chased away. These tiny birds can be hugely aggressive.

I wanted to stay longer, but sweat was pouring into my eyeballs, very unpleasant.
