| Immediate neighborhood update: The Capizio nest is now empty. Babies have fledged. Ledger is still in residence, higher up. Same grungy toe, same grungy feathers, same long baby beak. Pecking at building putty. |

| Traffic sign kids growing. There are three babies in this nest. Runt is usually hidden behind the aggressive chicks. Construction continues upstairs. |

| Oy! Turtle got to about 1 1/2 blocks from the lake to lay her eggs. She was burying the eggs when I spotted her. No point worrying. The raccoons will find and eat the eggs. |
