Each day different

Each day is so different. Yesterday no feeding in the garden. No squabbles over berries. No leaf tossing. One day the garden is like Grand Central, the next a Ghost Town.

But there was activity in the park, small regulars. Lots of chickadees finding bugs and seeds. Crispy dead bugs in lamp fixtures.

Colorful autumn bathing.

The hermit can walk on leaves.

Bugging under bark, the redbelly.
And then color caught my eye, something a bit different. Oh joy, a fox sparrow, one of the few sparrows I can identify easily. Shy, skittish.... I see you and you see me. Very sweet.
