The Unexpected

It's mid-November. Migration over? Not quite.
I didn't expect to see this group. First, the kinglet down by the lake. Good bugs.

Second day, the American tree sparrow. It likes this space. Good seeds and bugs. There are lots of white throated sparrows, but it is a solitary feeder, doesn't mix with the other sparrows. This bird has such a distinctive aura.

And the last thing I expected to see was a warbler. This yellow rump was at Tanner's Spring, very wary, checking for danger, scoping the space out.

This is a heavy work week, so I'll be posting every other day. I'd rather be in the park, but work calls. Shooting elsewhere.
