Serious business

Eating is an intense activity. I was so fascinated yesterday morning that my eyes missed some details. The camera got everything. For example, the baby that didn't get a meal was clutching a hunk of wood. Maybe it had been food-hunting and had seen movement under the wood. At any rate, there's no nutritional value in dead wood. Baby-with-rat guarded the treasure, made it clear, rat MINE, and ate the whole thing. Baby-without-rat watched the whole time and yelled in protest.
These are further images from yesterday's fine dining on the playground fence and one image from afterward when further food search was taking place on the ground below the fence. Toddlers in the playground. Toddlers outside the playground.
