I've still got dribs and drabs from last month not yet blogged, beauties seen around West 82nd street..... hermit thrushes, robin, flicker playing hide-and-seek, towhee, curious squirrel. The first hermit thrush image is of the thrush barfing up a pit. I saw that happen once before, caught me by surprise, never thought I'd catch a picture of this. The duo- towhee/robin, look at similarity of coloration, just differently distributed. How many times have I photographed squirrels? Sorry, lost count. Thousands of times? Millions? Probably somewhere in the middle.
