Crispy crunchies

No matter where you look someone is hunting for crispy food. This is favorite mush-face of the day.
The meadows are now fenced off at Strawberry Fields. They do this way too early. The result is that this is not a space for the people. The fields are only open mid-May to early October. There will be no more watching parulas hunting for months.

Whoa! Yellow rump on the ground, three of them.

Obvious reason. Bugs in the wood chips.

Phoebe doing fly catching for hours on end and then it shagged something better.

Down the hatch.

Everyone should write to the Central PArk Conservancy to keep the Strawberry Fields open until the end of October.
