The final humm

This is the final posting for hummers. The blossoms have mostly withered. With food source scarce they're heading south.

It has been huge fun watching these tiny jewels, so small and yet so huge in power and personality and an enormous challenge to photograph. No two seasons work out the same way. Look at results still posted from August/September 2010. I can't wait till next August.
