Watching everything

When you're scouring the ground for birds you're bound to spot some very interesting "birds".
The palm warbler

Wood thrush

There was a cluster of flickers. When they start poking into the grass for grub they become hawk -dinner targets. Lincoln Karim had a picture yesterday on his web site (www.palemale.com) of Pale Male dining on flicker.

One of these days I'll get a picture of fly-out and fly catch.
