Fun grounders

Big field east of Falconer Rock. Loads of birds on ground getting lunch. No matter what direction I looked there was something going on. Food under leaves, food in grass, food in tree bark. Everywhere there was gorging going on.
Hermit thrush and lunch. This was a surprise.

Female black-throated blue warbler going for bugs

I'm used to seeing them round-fat, not stretched out skinny.

Palm warbler

There was a flock of juncos, at least 50.

Not everything on the ground has wings.
