Bugs = birds

Not as brilliant colors as yesterday' post. I saw the tiny insects (termites) so knew the birds would arrive. First the female common yellow throat.
Then the male, really watching for bugs. No fear of me.
Back to the female. Never before saw a yellow throat clean her beak .
Same behavior for the B/W warbler, bugging intense in my face.
Flitting blackpoll. Bugs, bugs, bugs.
Success, caught something.
Female redstart also bugging
This was different, warbling vireo on ground collecting nesting material.
Favorite spring subject. Leaves for lunch (seeds). Good Mama.
A little color on the ground.
